Building Green’s 11 Broadway adds Flatiron School

Web development training academy the Flatiron School signed a lease for 11,165 square feet at Building Green Associates’ 11 Broadway, according to ABS Partners Real Estate, which represented the tenant.

The school will leave its space at 33 West 26th Street in NoMad for a spot even farther from the Flatiron District – Down By Battery Place in Lower Manhattan. ABS Partners brokers Douglas Regal and Adam Maxson backed the Flatiron School in the deal, while Braun Management’s Mendy Braun represented Building Green Associates.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation helped to fund the school’s expansion and relocation.

Business lender Merchant Solutions Group doubled its office space to 11,020 square feet in November at the building, as previously reported. — Mark Maurer
