New hotel slated for Sunset Park

A six-story hotel space-age hotel is headed for Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

The 70-unit hotel at 457 39th Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues in Sunset Park, will have 70 units and 19,928 square feet of commercial space, according to new building permits cited by Brownstoner. Michael Kang Architect is desiging the property, the blog said.

CCL Management LLC, which lists Daniel Chen as a member on Department of Buildings filings, purchased the site last year for $565,000, according to PropertyShark. [Brownstoner] — Julie Strickland
