Gotham West Market opens in Hell’s Kitchen

 The 10,000-square-foot gourmet food hall Gotham West Market has opened on the corner of 44th Street and 11th Avenue.

The market was developed by the Gotham Organization as a part of its Gotham West residential project. It features a tapas bar, a burger joint and even a much-anticipated Ivan Ramen, a ramen noodle restaurant from Japan, according to the New York Observer.

Gotham hopes that the market will help draw hungry epicureans to its 1,238-unit Hell’s Kitchen rental complex at 550 West 45th Street. And if that isn’t enough to make the foodies salivate, the complex will come complete with a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen residents can use for parties and events. [NYO] –Christopher Cameron
