Barely missing a beat between sharp-tongued attacks on New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, the Donald has filed court papers mocking his adversary for luring 97 alleged victims out of the woodwork with promises of cash payouts.

“Like bees on honey, these 97 people have been lured by the AG with the promise and hope of monetary damages,” Jeffrey Goldman, Trump’s attorney, said in the filing in New York State Supreme Court, cited by the New York Post.

Those who came forward did so “following Mr. Schneiderman’s defamatory and unstatesmanlike media campaign to publicize the lawsuit,” the suit said, pointing to the AG’s recent appearances on television shows where he spoke about the suit.

The AG sued the real estate mogul-turned-reality TV star for $40 million in August, accusing the fair-haired developer of scamming students through his “Trump University.” Firing back, Trump dubbed Schneiderman a “political hack” and questioned whether President Obama was involved in the fraud case.

“While Mr. Trump tries to distract from his fraud and abuse the courts to repeat his ridiculous claims, Attorney General Schneiderman is focused on … pursuing justice for the students victimized by Mr. Trump and his scam university,” Matt Mittenthal, spokesman for the AG, told the Post.
