Chinese mall to be covered in 42,333 steel spheres

WEEKENDEDITION The Dutch firm UNStudio has unveiled plans to plaster a Chinese shopping center with 42,333 steel spheres.

The plans for the new high-end mall, dubbed Hanjie Wanda Square, in the Wuchang district of Wuhan, China will also include LED light fixtures in each of the orbs that will cycle various colors across the building’s façade, according to Curbed.
