Mashable is in talks to take between 50,000 and 60,000 square feet at L&L Holding’s newly renovated 114 Fifth Avenue in Midtown South. The digital news website has been on the prowl for new space since at least November, as The Real Deal reported.

The burgeoning media organization has been rapidly scaling up its workforce and will leave its 17,444-square-foot space at SL Green Realty’s 304 Park Avenue South next year.

Asking rents at 114 Fifth Avenue start in the $70s per square foot, Crain’s reported. L&L is also in talks with MasterCard to take 60,000 square feet at the 20-story, 340,000-square-foot building, according to Crain’s. [Crain’s]  – Hiten Samtani
