Shoe designer Vince Camuto is in contract to sell his Southampton estate for $75 million, a jump from the $48 million listing price and a Hamptons record.

Corcoran Group broker Tim Davis represented both Camuto and the buyer, a New York City couple. The deal, which includes additional property not initially included in the ask, is expected to close as soon as tomorrow, the Wall Street Journal reported. The couple plans to preserve the house and the surrounding 14 acres. The home found a buyer at least a couple of months ago, as The Real Deal reported in early October.

The asking price alone would have rendered the property one of the most expensive Hamptons residences ever sold. The house features seven bedrooms, 12-and-a-half bathrooms and a pool house that can also serve as guest quarters. Camuto has owned it for more than 30 years.

Davis had the listing, along with colleague Peter Huffine and Sotheby’s International Realty brokers Pat Petrillo and John McHugh.

Meanwhile, Camuto is also selling his nearby Water Mill estate, which is on the market for $49.5 million, as previously reported. [WSJ, 2nd item]Mark Maurer
