The former head of investment bank Goldman Sachs’ public relations department has put his Upper West Side townhouse on the market asking $8.9 million, according to StreetEasy.

Public relations whiz Lucas van Praag bought the five-story brownstone at 131 West 95th Street, at Columbus Avenue, for $7.85 million in 2008.

Diane Johnson and Scott Byrd of Douglas Elliman have the listing, according to StreetEasy.

Praag, now a managing partner of Fitzroy Communications, retired as global head of corporate communication for Goldman in 2012, according to published reports.

Praag and a representative for Douglas Elliman declined to comment.

Built in 1905 as a multifamily building, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom townhome was converted in 2008. The property features include a wood-burning fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, private terrace and garden, according to the listing.
