UPDATE, 5:00 p.m., Jan. 17: Brokers James Famularo, Alexander Hill, Jeff Geoghegan and Ravi Idnani have been recruited to head up Eastern Consolidated’s new retail leasing division, according to a release from the firm. The Midtown-based brokerage announced plans to assemble a retail leasing team, a little more than a year after it launched a retail investment sales group that is headed by senior director Adelaide Polsinelli, as The Real Deal reported in November.
Famularo previously served as senior executive managing director at New York Commercial Real Estate Services. Hill came aboard from Winick Realty Group. Geoghegan last worked as a stock broker at Greenway Capital and Idnani, like Famularo, arrived from New York Commercial Real Estate Services.
The team has already closed lease deals for several nightclubs and restaurants including Markt, a restaurant at 676 Sixth Avenue; 1Oak Meatpacking, a nightclub at 453 West 17th Street; and Goldbar, a bar at 389 Broome Street, according to the release. — Mark Maurer
