Zosia Mamet, better known as Shoshanna Shapiro on the HBO hit series “Girls,” has purchased a new Bushwick property to share with her actor boyfriend, Evan Jonigkeit.

Mamet, who is the daughter of playwright David Mamet and actress Lindsay Crouse, picked up the three-story home for $1 million in November. The “Girls” star is reportedly gut renovating the Bushwick property.

The house was divided into three separate apartments before Mamet and Jonigkeit bought it. The Daily Mail, who broke the story, did not specify the address of the couple’s new digs. [Daily Mail]Julie Strickland

I own a building down the street. This is great news for me. So one of the struggling hipsters buys a place for a million with plans to dump another few hundred G’s into it….. Wonder if this will make it on the show!
