Todd Moscowitz, music executive and former CEO of Warner Brothers Records, picked up a three-bedroom pad in the West Village for $4.56 million.

The 2,400-square-foot condominium unit at 345 West 13th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenue, features a rooftop garden and 10-foot-high ceilings. Prime Manhattan broker Robert Danker represented the sellers, lawyer Michael Graffagna and his wife Midori, in the deal. They bought the unit in 2009 for about $3.5 million.

Moscowitz, who formerly ran Russell Simmons’ Def Jam Records, is working on launching a new record label known as 300, the New York Observer reported.

Last year, Vornado Chairman Steve Roth sold his duplex penthouse in the building for a $6.8 million. Roth purchased the 3,233-square-foot condo in 1999 for $1.7 million. Comedian Will Ferrell bought a unit at the West Village building for $4.2 million in 2010, as previously reported. [NYO] — Mark Maurer
