Ronan Farrow, the estranged son of legendary auteur Woody Allen, has paid $1.5 million for new Upper West Side digs. Farrow, who will make his cable-television debut on MSNBC later this month, will move into a two-bedroom condominium at 225 West 60th Street.

The 982-square-foot unit is Farrow’s first New York City real estate buy. The apartment was listed with Douglas Elliman’s Tracie Hamersley and Elizabeth Hamersley, the New York Post reported.

The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, according to the listing, and the building boasts a gym and landscaped rooftop deck with Hudson River views.

Farrow, who is Allen’s son with actress Mia Farrow, is notorious for criticizing his father on social media and elsewhere, and refers to himself as both Allen’s son and brother-in-law, on account of Allen having married Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn. [NYP]  – Hiten Samtani

The kid does look like Frank Sinatra. If he bought a pad in Hobooken I would have been smirking to myself.

So He can be close to Mommy!

Now the timing of Dylan Farrow’s open letter makes more sense.
