Elad Group is one of many developers eager to appeal to the personal needs of wealthy prospective condominium-unit buyers when determining a particular building’s amenities. The developer teamed up with upscale department store Bergdorf Goodman to provide personal shopping to 22 Central Park South’s residents. Prices at the recently renovated seven-unit condo building range from $6.7 million to $26.5 million. Sales launched at the building in October, as previously reported.
Bergdorf Goodman staffers will now be on call to assist with shopping and at-home salon treatments. The store largely furnished the building’s model apartment, which features brass sculptures and sequined ball gowns.
“This is our target customer anyway, and now we’re having direct access to them,” Andrew Mandell, who serves as vice president of decorative home at Bergdorf Goodman, told the New York Times.
