Developer Jeff Gershon has unveiled a rendering of his 13-story mixed-use project in South Williamsburg.
ODA Architecture is designing the 46 residential units – either condominiums or rentals – on the site of a one-time coffee warehouse at 190-196 South 1st Street. Under the plan, there would be a 12,310-square-foot community facility on the bottom two floors, as well as parking, a gym and a fourth-floor lounge, as previously reported. The Department of Buildings has not yet approved the developer’s permit filings.
Peter Longo, the owner of coffee shop Porto Rico Importing at 201 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, sold the property to Gershon for $6.5 million in June. The plot is currently vacant. [BuzzBuzzHome] — Mark Maurer
