Fortuna Realty Group and hotelier Matthew Moinian’s Hudson Square hotel project has changed its name to Hotel Hugo from Soho Hotel.

The 122-room, 20-story property at 525 Greenwich Street between Spring and Vandam streets is slated to open in the next month or two, Hotel Chatter reported. The 166-foot-tall structure will feature an Italian eatery operated by restaurateur Sean Largotta on the ground floor; a cocktail lounge and a 17-foot glass façade in the lobby.

The rooms will either have a king-sized bed or two double beds.

Fortuna, led by developer Morris Moinian, bought the former parking garage site for $12.75 million at auction in 2011, as previously reported. [Hotel Chatter]Mark Maurer
