Developer Ugo Colombo’s firm hires Vanessa Grout

Former Elliman Florida CEO to oversee sales, marketing of projects

From the South Florida site: Developer Ugo Colombo has hired former Douglas Elliman Florida CEO Vanessa Grout to oversee sales and marketing for his projects.

Grout is the new president of CMC Real Estate, an entity of Colombo’s CMC Group, the company announced on Tuesday. A Miami native, Grout is a real estate industry veteran, attorney and journalist. She most recently worked as an executive at New Valley LLC, the real estate arm of the publicly traded Vector Group.

“I feel privileged to work with Ugo Colombo and his gifted team,” Grout said. “The level of detail and skill exhibited in every measure of the design and development process is remarkable.”

Colombo’s firm has several South Florida projects in the works. Most recently, CMC Group and partner Valerio Morabito launched sales at Miami Beach oceanfront project Beach House 8. — Eric Kalis
