Industry couple sells Gramercy Park pad for $3M

A real estate husband-and-wife duo have dropped their condominium at Zeckendorf Towers in Gramercy Park for around $3 million.

Thomas Scarangello, the CEO of structural engineering firm Thornton Tomassetti, and his wife Roxanne Donovan, head of real estate public relations firm, Great Ink, sold the three-bedroom space at 1 Irving Place on Valentine’s Day to the senior vice president at global information firm Neilsen Holdings, Kate Vanek.

The 1,778-square-foot two-unit combo on the 18th floor features marble bathrooms, an open chef’s kitchen, a sundeck and views of Freedom Tower and Union Square, according to the New York Observer.

The 29-floor building is New York City’s largest development to ban smoking, which residents voted for in May of last year. The developers, William and Arthur Zeckendorf, have built some of the highest-fetching condo towers in the city, to include 15 Central Park West.
