A duplex on the highest floor of a star-studded condominium in the West Village has been listed on StreetEasy for $12 million, one of the priciest homes to hit the market last week.

Diane Nichols with Douglas Elliman has the listing at Bing & Bing’s 299 West 12th Street for the penthouse above actress Jennifer Aniston’s former digs.

Although Nichols declined to identify the current seller, property records for the unit indicate the last buyers were Paul Critchlow, an executive with Merrill Lynch, and his wife, author Patricia McCormick. The couple purchased the property for $5.25 million in 2008 from Barbara Dente of marketing firm Dente & Christina, after selling their 19th-century townhouse at 85 Perry Street for nearly $12 million. Nichols also arranged that sale.

The “private paradise in the clouds” has more outdoor space than it does living space, with two “Blue Jasmine”-esque terraces — totaling 800 square feet — providing views of the Empire State Building and Freedom Tower.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has a built-in indoor and outdoor sound system, a wood-burning fireplace, private storage and an office space tucked away adjacent to the master bedroom. The Emery Roth-designed doorman building is 17 stories high and has a laundry room for residents.
