Suit over celeb chef Marcus Samuelsson’s townhouse settled

Broker alleged Food Network star, along with Halstead broker, cheated him out of 3% cut

Harlem real estate broker Laurent Delly reached a settlement in a lawsuit against Halstead Property and celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson. The broker had accused Samuelsson of conspiring with a Halstead broker, Kim McKeller, to cheat him out of his 3 percent commission on the purchase of a $2.9 million Harlem townhouse.

Delly claimed in the suit filed in October that the seller’s broker received a 6 percent commission, and he therefore was owed a $75,000 cut, as previously reported. Attorneys for Samuelsson and McKeller declined to comment to DNAinfo. Samuelsson acquired the home at 30 West 120th Street in January 2013, as previously reported.
