Basile Builders Group plans eight luxury units for empty lot in Clinton Hill

Permits filed with the city to construct four luxury condominium buildings in Clinton Hill indicate the developer, Basile Builders Group, is building more units than originally planned.

The development arm of Avo Construction plans to put up eight luxury units at 76 Lefferts Place.

That’s up from the three units in the original design, Brownstoner reported. The sign on the construction fence at the site, which parallels Atlantic Avenue, shows three more four-story buildings going up on the property of the same caliber.

Construction began in August, and Basile is currently putting in the foundation, according to the news site. The developer bought the property for $7.85 million in June — twice what the parcel of land sold for a year earlier, as previously reported. [Brownstoner] — Angela Hunt
