WEEKENDEDITION Property Markets Group head Kevin Maloney has dropped $11.44 million on a Walker Tower apartment, despite his recent falling out with JDS Development’s Michael Stern.

Maloney and Stern had successfully teamed up to develop Walker Tower, the Steinway building and Stella Tower. But rising tensions didn’t dissuade Maloney from moving into the building at 212 West 18th Street in Chelsea, according to the New York Observer.

“There’s probably not a good fit here for us to work together going forward,” Maloney told The Real Deal last week, referring to Stern. “We’re very different personalities. [We have] different philosophies on managing people.”
