JLL names new vice president in New York office

Former Studley managing director to focus on new business and tenant representation services

Jason Schwartzenberg has been hired as executive vice president in Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office.

Schwartzenberg, 37, will focus on new business development and tenant representation services in the New York metropolitan area, according to an announcement from the commercial brokerage.

“Jason Schwartzenberg is one of New York’s leading young real estate professionals,” Philip Palmer, executive managing director and the head of JLL’s brokerage operations in New York, said in a press release announcing the new hire. “His enthusiasm and expertise will serve a key role in further expanding JLL’s growth in Manhattan.”

Prior to joining JLL, Schwartzenberg, a licensed real estate broker and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, served as corporate managing director at Studley Inc., where he was responsible for new business development, tenant representation services and market research. Schwartzenberg has more 12 years of experience in the business and received a CoStar Power Broker Award in 2006.

Prior to his work at Studley, he was a business development manager with Torry Harris Business Solutions and worked in business development for five years for a number of early stage technology companies in San Francisco and New York. – Claire Moses
