A seven-story apartment building — located on the site of a former Upper East Side church — is likely be ready for tenants before the end of the year.
Marketing, which is being handled by Tamir Shemesh of the Corcoran Group, has begun for the 22-unit elevator building. The property, located at 337 East 62nd Street between First and Second Avenues, will stand 75 feet tall.
Permits to construct the new building were filed in 2012. The residences are being designed by Peter Poon Architects. Many of the apartments will include private outdoor space, big windows and kitchens decked out with appliances.
Yeung Real Estate Development bought the property in 2012 for $7 million. [BuzzBuzzHome] – Claire Moses
