For an Upper East Side penthouse once owned by Frank Sinatra, the path to being sold feels like an eternity.
The 3,200-square-foot, four-bedroom co-op at the Edgewater, located at 530 East 72nd Street, is seeing another price chop, to $4.99 million. It hit the market for $7.7 million in 2012, then slipped to $4.6 million last year. Jacky Teplitzky and William Martin of Douglas Elliman have the listing now.
The current seller is Long Island-based car insurance mogul Penny Hart, as previously reported. [Curbed] — Mark Maurer
