Parkview Developers duo sell Central Park South PH for $12M

Hoteliers looking to unload up to 25 co-op units at Southmoor House

Hotel developers Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass of Parkview Developers are selling their penthouse co-op at 230 Central Park South for $11.9 million, according to property records filed with the city today.

Parkview renovated the 17-story co-op building also known as Southmoor House in 2004. The developers, who are behind the Out NYC hotel at 510 West 42nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, are life and business partners. They are shareholders at the Southmoor and have owned units there since 1995.

The three-bedroom duplex co-op features a library, office and fireplace. The apartment was listed for $13.95 million with Corcoran Group brokers Robby Browne and Sotheby’s International Realty broker Pamela O’Connor. It first hit the market in April 2013, according to StreetEasy.

According to an episode of “Million Dollar Listing New York” that aired in May, Reisner is looking to sell about 25 units at the 50-unit building, as The Real Deal reported. The buyer of this unit is Bellavista Properties, a company based at 304 East 65th Street.

Also in May, Reisner was arrested in East Hampton for allegedly leaving the scene of a car crash. He was charged with driving while his ability was impaired, as previously reported.

The buyer, sellers and brokers could not be immediately reached for comment.
