A mixed-use project is nearly completed at 385 Broadway in Williamsburg along the elevated J train tracks. Hopefully there will be some soundproofing, or the project could prove a hard sell for residents who dislike listening to a train pass every few minutes.
Located between Keap and Hooper streets, the six-story, 24,421-square-foot building features 10 apartments, with retail and a community facility space on the lower floors, according to Buzzbuzzhome.
Permits were filed originally filed back April 2010 and finally issued in February 2014. The developer, 385 Broadway Realty Corp., acquired the property in April 2011 for $251,000, according to Department of Finance records cited by Buzzbuzzhome.
The project expands upon an existing two-story commercial building at the site. Marin Nanca Architects is the architect of record. [Buzzbuzzhome] – Christopher Cameron
