The founders of New York retail hotspot Opening Ceremony and salad eatery Chop’t have bought Brooklyn brownstones.

Opening Ceremony co-founder Carol Lim paid $3.43 million — $230,000 more than the asking price — for a renovated four-story home at 207 Sterling Place in Prospect Heights.

In Red Hook, Chop’t co-founder Tony Shure paid $1.85 million for a three-story brick house with a commercial unit on the ground floor. The building at 386 Van Brunt Street was originally listed for $2.15 million. [Curbed] — Claire Moses
