Veteran broker Elaine Mayers will be joining Town Residential, she announced on Thursday.

Mayers, who has been with Citi Habitats for the past eight years, will bring team members Carol Nemeroff, Talia Schor and Joe Snyder with her to her new position.

After eight years at Citi Habitats, Mayers said, “it’s time to make a change.”

Mayers has won numerous awards throughout her career, including Top Sales Agent and Top Listing Agent for the past several years at Citi Habitats.

Mayers told The Real Deal that Town’s marketing and support system played a big part in her decision to make the move.  In a statement, she noted that “Town has created a platform of fresh and innovative marketing tools that I am confident both my team and my clients will benefit from.”

Mayers is a long time resident of Gramercy Park and Murray Hill and mostly specializes in deals in those neighborhoods as well as Chelsea, the West Village and Flatiron.

The brokerage recently sued Douglas Elliman for allegedly engaging in unfair competition by poaching Nicole Oge, the firm’s former vice president of marketing.

Some other recent hires to the firm include Shlomi Reuveni, Ryan FitzpatrickLisa Meyer and Julia Miller.

Everyone’s suing everyone. Also, does Citi have any of their veteran agents there anymore?

      No

Shiti-Habitats loses again. Gary should stop taking referrals for his non-corporate corporate clients.
