The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is staying put at 469 Seventh Avenue, near West 36th Street.

The agency signed a lease to renew its 34,000-square-foot space on the 11th and 14th floors of the Midtown building, owned by Foremost Real Estate’s Dan Shavolian along with Colliers International’s Eric and Marty Meyer. Asking rents at the property are in the $50s per square foot.

Cushman & Wakefield brokers Josh Kuriloff and Jodi Roberts represented the tenant, while the Meyers represented themselves on behalf of the owners.

The 267,000-square-foot property is almost entirely leased. Current vacancies include the 2,000-square-foot penthouse, 10,000-square-foot roof deck and 17,000 square foot spanning the 15th and 16th floors.

Last year, the New York Police Department’s Manhattan South Traffic Enforcement Division signed a lease for 66,800 square feet there, as previously reported. [NYP, 3rd item]Mark Maurer
