CBS TV grabs office space at 1 Worldwide Plaza

Lease spans 32,600 square feet at massive Hell's Kitchen tower

CBS TV signed a 12-year lease for roughly 32,600 square feet at 1 Worldwide Plaza in Hell’s Kitchen.

The 1.8 million square-foot property owned by New York REIT, DRA Advisors, George Comfort & Sons and RCG Longview has been increasingly signing media tenants. CBS plans to combine several of its distribution offices into a space on the 30th floor at the building, at 50th Street and Ninth Avenue.

CBRE brokers Rocco Laginestra, Andrew Sussman, Michael Wellen, Michael Laginestra and Scott Gottlieb represented the tenant, the New York Observer reported. Matt Coudert and Peter Duncan of George Comfort & Sons represented the landlords. Asking rents at the tower are roughly $70 per square foot.
