Developer Abraham Leser, a longtime player in Brooklyn’s insular real estate circles, scooped up four low-rise buildings in Murray Hill for $26.5 million.

Property records show the Leser Group purchased 609, 611, 613 and 615 Second Avenue, located between East 33rd and East 34th streets. The four-story buildings are all mixed-use properties, with ground-floor retail.

The buildings’ maximum usable space is 48,247 square feet, combined.

A call to the Leser Group wasn’t immediately returned, but the developer is part of the close-knit and under-the-radar world of Brooklyn real estate. He has ties to Chaim Miller, among others, a developer who was among those wrangling for control of the massive development site at 49 Dupont Street in Greenpoint.

The seller was art dealer Ely Sakhai, who bought the buildings in the early 1990s.
