10-story East Village apartment building hits market for $30M

Property holds 33 rentals and shoe repair and hardware stores

Landlord Ludmilla Lozowy is asking $30 million for a 10-story apartment building located in East Village.

The property at 57-59 Second Avenue, between East 3rd and 4th streets, holds 33 apartments and two ground-floor retail units. Alex Shoe Repair and Allied Hardware occupy the retail space on a month-to-month basis. The two stores pay up to $4,000 per month.

Of the 33 apartments in the building, 28 are rent-stabilized.
