Fredrik Eklund closes Chelsea deal, picks up a Lamborghini

Following the $17 million sale, Eklund also donated $30,000 to charity

Fredrik Eklund, Douglas Elliman broker and reality TV star, has treated himself to a new Lamborghini following the sale of a Chelsea townhouse.

Bill White and partner Bryan Eure put their 6,000-square-foot house on the market this fall after giving it a full renovation. Source are now telling the New York Post that the home sold for close to $17 million, and that the buyer is Mexican tortilla heiress Bertha González Moreno.

That’s not a bad deal considering that White and Eure only paid $5 million for the property in 2012.

Eklund brokered the deal and donated $30,000 of his spoils to the Wounded Warrior Project, before splashing out with the rest.

Earlier this month, Eklund claimed that his team has closed more deals so far this year than anyone in Douglas Elliman history.  [NYP] – Christopher Cameron
