Times Square designer Snohetta inks lease for Rudin’s 80 Pine

Norwegian architecture firm draws up plan to move from 25 Broadway

Snohetta, a Norwegian architecture firm that designed Times Square and the Sept. 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion, is relocating to the Rudin family’s 39-story office building at 80 Pine Street.

The firm signed a 10-year lease for more than 19,000 square feet on the 10th floor of the property, Also Known As 110 Maiden Lane, in Lower Manhattan. Snohetta’s current New York headquarters is at 25 Broadway. The move is set to occur sometime next year.

Rudin’s Tom Keating represented the landlord, while Richard Kennedy of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Asking rent at the building is about $40 per square foot, the New York Post reported.
