The Kaufman Organization sold an 11-story office building in the Flatiron District to an undisclosed buyer for $92 million.
The 125,000-square-foot property at 27 West 24th Street, between Sixth Avenue and Broadway, last sold in 2013 for $56 million. In between sales, Kaufman invested $2.5 million in capital improvements, including upgrades to the lobby and elevators.
Kaufman put the building on the market in September for $95 million, as previously reported. Savills Studley’s Woody Heller and Will Silverman represented Kaufman in the deal, while Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Barry Berkowitz and Garett Stoffels represented the buyer. [Crain’s] — Mark Maurer
