A condo in Extell Development’s One57 sold for $30 million to a buyer named Dojiang Li, according to property records filed with the city today.
Unit 67A spans just shy of 4,500 square feet, with three bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Li took a mortgage out from China CITIC Bank International, indicating that he is likely a Chinese national, following the growing trend of Chinese investors flocking to the city.
A penthouse at One57 that closed in January holds the record for priciest closed Manhattan condo sale ever, at $100.5 million.
The under-construction project was recently hit with a stop-work order when a sheet of plexiglas fell from the building and hit two parked cars.
