Bauhouse Group taps Norman Foster for UES project
The developer is planning a 95-unit tower
Starchitect Norman Foster has been tapped to design a 269,000-square-foot building on the Upper East Side.
In January, developer Bauhouse Group picked up the assemblage comprised of three contiguous walkups at 428-432 East 58th Street, between First Avenue and Sutton Place, for $32 million. The firm is now planning a 95-unit, Foster-designed building for the site, according to a press release from the developer.
Unfortunately, there is no word yet as to how tall the building will rise. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer. – Christopher Cameron
