For the third time in two weeks, a developer is counting on Bushwick’s future as a tourist hot spot.
Toby Moskovits’ Heritage Equity Partners filed plans with the city Thursday to build a 144-key hotel at 232 Seigel Street, located between Bushwick Avenue and White Street.
The proposed 10-story building is less than a mile away from Yoel Goldman’s All Year Management’s upcoming 112-key hotel at 71 White Street. A day before Goldman filed his plans on May 21, Riverside Developers — who are also behind the William Vale Hotel at 55 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg — proposed a 140-key hotel at 27 Stewart Avenue, also in Bushwick.
Heritage Equity is proposing a 97,345-square-foot hotel that will include a gym and a restaurant. Morali Architects is the architect of record.
The Brooklyn-based developer bought the vacant site — as well as 15 other parcels on Seigel and Moore streets in the neighborhood — for $28.2 million last December.
Moskovits sued Goldman earlier this year over two projects — in which Goldman invested — that she alleged were in “imminent peril,” as The Real Deal reported. Goldman and Moskovits partnered on a $17 million development site in Long Island City.
Moskovits couldn’t immediately be reached for comment on Thursday morning.
