Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander will be able to get over his team’s hiding at the hands of the Golden State Warriors in a brand new apartment.
Alexander bought a unit at the Baccarat Hotel & Residences at 20 West 53rd Street for $20.6 million, according to property records filed with the city Monday. The apartment is located on the 44th floor of the Starwood and Tribeca Associates-developed property and includes four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The pad spans 4,545 square feet, according to the listing on StreetEasy.
In April, Alexander listed his four-bedroom penthouse at 18 Gramercy Park for $50 million, having paid $42 million for it two years earlier.
Earlier this year, Chinese insurer Sunshine Insurance Group agreed to buy the hotel portion of the Baccarat for $230 million, or a record $2 million per room.
