Supermodel Gemma Ward sells East Village pad for $2.3M

Goldman Sachs exec is the buyer of the 232 East 6th Street co-op

Australian supermodel Gemma Ward sold her three-bedroom co-op in the East Village to a Goldman Sachs executive for $2.3 million.

The apartment, at 232 East 6th Street, a 31-unit building constructed in 1920, sold for its asking price. It was listed in November.

At age 16, Ward was the youngest model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue, the New York Daily News reported.
