A Hoboken listing is poised to shatter two real estate records just days after another Castle Point property sold for $4.35 million — now the record for the most expensive house sale in Hoboken history.

Half of the 22nd floor of the W Hotel has listed for $6.6 million, according to the Hudson Reporter. The average condo sale price in Hoboken last month was just $716,115.

If the combination unit sells at ask, not only will it shatter the record for Hoboken’s most expensive home sale, it will also significantly up the ante for condo sales. Currently, the condo sale record in Hoboken is $2.8 million.

“Five years ago, Brooklyn was at our level in terms of prices,” broker Kristin Ehrgott said. “Maybe that’s the direction we’re headed in.” [Hudson Reporter]Christopher Cameron
