An East Village townhouse formerly occupied by tabloids’ favorite couple, fashion designer Mary-Kate Olsen and French banker Olivier Sarkozy, half-brother of Nicolas, can now be yours to rent for $26,500 a month.

The 4,200-square-foot home, at 125 East 10th Street, has equal doses of celebrity pop-culture clout and rich New York City history. It was built in 1860 by architect James Renwick, the designer of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Olsen, 29, and Sarkozy, 46, lived in the five-bedroom, three-bathroom townhouse from 2012 to last year. They completed renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms, though they were renters.

The home is five stories, including a finished basement level that opens to the beautifully landscaped, 28-foot-wide, multi-level garden.

Since Sarkozy and Olsen vacated the space, it has been host to several other high-profile renters, including former “Doctor Who” actor David Tennant. Most recently, it was used as a cast hangout for the movie “Tallulah,” starring Ellen Page and Allison Janney.

Warburg Realty’s Jason Haber has the listing.

Sarkozy owned the attached townhouse, at 123 East 10th Street, but the couple never moved into that half. Artist Aaron Young purchased it for $6.4 million last year.

The lovebirds relocated to a townhouse nearly twice the size, at 226-228 East 49th Street in Turtle Bay, which they bought for $13.5 million. They are currently completing a $3 million renovation and addition.
