Johnny Depp lists French estate for $26M
The estate includes an entire village of more than a dozen buildings
Johnny Depp is saying adieu to his estate in the South of France.
The “estate” – in fact a former village with more than a dozen buildings — is now on the market for €23.056 million, roughly $26 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The sale also includes Depp’s possessions, including furniture, books, DVDs, art and many odd personal belongings.
Depp purchased the 37-acre property in 2001 and invested nearly $10 million into the buildings.
“It was in a pretty rough state,” Alexander Kraft, chairman and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty France told the Journal. [WSJ] – Christopher Cameron
