Hedge fund boss Steve Cohen’s One Beacon Court penthouse is back on the market and asking $36 million less than when he first listed it in 2013.
The SAC Capital Advisors founder – who paid a record $1.2 billion fine to the U.S. government for insider trading in 2013 – Is Relisting His One Beacon Court penthouse at 151 East 58th Street for $79 million.
The asking price is a whopping $36 million less than when Cohen first listed the apartment in 2013, according to the New York Daily News. The four-bedroom, 9,000-square-foot unit has been on and off the market several times since, with the listing price slashed multiple times. Cohen acquired the penthouse for $24 million in 2005.
A Corcoran Group team of Deborah Grubman, David Dubin and Paul Albano are the listing agents. Grubman previously had the listing in 2013 before subsequently losing it to Serena Boardman of Sotheby’s International Realty. [NYDN] – Rey Mashayekhi
