Charlene Haroche, the widow of travel agency mogul Gilbert Haroche, purchased a Pierre Hotel co-op for $22.9 million, just four months after the Sherry Netherland condo she shared with her late husband sold for $70 million.

The 29th-floor Pierre Hotel co-op, at 795 Fifth Avenue, has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The sellers were Alfred Engelberg, an intellectual property lawyer, and his wife Gail.

A Chinese buyer in March purchased the Haroche’s former seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home at the Sherry Netherland. The Haroches initially listed for $95 million, but were forced to chop the price.

Gilbert Haroche, the co-founder of Liberty Travel, died in April from complications related to colon cancer.

The Pierre unit purchased by Charlene sits just a few floors beneath the penthouse of the Pierre, which has been languishing on the market for $63 million after being originally listed for $125 million in 2013. The owner is another billionaire’s widow, Barbara Zweig, who was married to the late financier Martin Zweig.
