The New York City Housing Authority filed plans Monday for the final phase of the Prospect Plaza development project.
The new five-story, 123-unit building at 1800 Park Place is part of a larger project that will add more than 350 units of affordable and public housing to a 4.5-acre site in both Ocean Hill and Brownsville, according to a permit application filed with the city’s Department of Buildings.
The new Dattner Architects-designed building will span nearly 141,000 square feet and include a supermarket and community facility, the filing shows.
Two apartments will be on the first floor, 34 units will be on the second floor, 35 will be on each of the third and fourth floors and 17 apartments will the top off the fifth floor.
Amenities include recreation space on the second floor and a rooftop greenhouse.
Blue Sea Development Company is developing the city-owned property and the final development phase is excepted to be completed by 2017.
A representative for Dattner was not immediately available for comment.
