In a sale that was likely smoother than his four divorces, Fox News pundit and master vault cracker Geraldo Rivera sold his 45 East 89th Street co-op for $4 million.
Geraldo and his fifth wife Erica bought the 1,650-square-foot, three-bedroom unit on the 36th floor of the Carnegie Hill building back in 2011, paying $3.4 million. He originally listed it at $4.4 million earlier this year.
The apartment’s buyer was listed as Phenom 67, LLC, which lists Midtown law firm Lustrin Tetelman as a contact. Calls to Lustrin Tetelman were not immediately returned.
Gail Bomze and Estelle Meister of Douglas Elliman had the listing.
In May, the mustachioed reporter and talk show host bought another apartment in the same building, a 2,500-square-foot four-bedroom condo on the 40th floor, paying $5.6 million.
