The New York Wheel on Staten Island has just clinched City Council approval, clearing the way for construction on the massive Ferris Wheel to begin.

The City Council specifically approved adjustments to a parking garage adjacent to the Wheel, according to Curbed. Originally, the garage was proposed as a three-level structure; but the new approved plan calls for a four-level garage with a smaller footprint.
