A million dollars won’t go so far in Manhattan, so why not buy an entire town instead? The ghost town of Uptop, Colo., is up for sale for just $1 million – a pretty sweet deal for anyone fantasizing about staging their own saloon fight scene.
The 42-acre property contains buildings preserved from the 19th-century’s Gold Rush days, according to the New York Post. There’s a church, a schoolhouse, a saloon, a dance hall and railroad depot that was converted into a museum.
And if you want to call Uptop home, there is an original two-bedroom homestead cabin from 1917. And in case you are having guests, there is also a renovated tavern-keepers house.
And if you thought all that for only $1 million was a pretty sweet deal, for half a million more you can purchase all 253 acres around Uptop, or another 211-acre parcel for an extra $595,000.
