The three-bedroom penthouse designed by Bravo’s “9 by Design” stars Bob and Cortney Novogratz, which hit the market for $3.75 million in March, is now in contract, with a price of $3.195 million, 15 percent off the original price, according to EV Grieve. The space is at 238 East 4th Street between avenues A and B, part of a five-story East Village development project that began in April 2009, when the Novogratzes — who run design and development firm Sixx Design — razed the existing one-story building. The condominium features a key-lock elevator, a Boffi kitchen outfitted with Macassar Ebony cabinetry and stainless steel countertops, 10.5-foot loft ceilings, a woodburning fireplace, a Crestron security system, plus a terrace with sweeping views of the city. Julie Pham and Sarah Thompson of the Corcoran Group were the listing agents. [EV Grieve]
